THE LIST- 3 College Football Coaches you would want to play for

THE LIST for September 3rd, 2015

Today on THE LIST, Nate and I discussed the 3 college football coaches that we would want to play for if we were "fortunate enough" to be granted a scholarship from their fine institutions.

Nate's List:

  1. Jim Harbaugh- Nate is a softy for Harbs.  He loved him at Stanford and then with the 49ers.  Now that he has taken his talents back to the NCAA at the University of Michigan that is the first place that Nate would go. He likes his "quirky weirdness" and thinks he looks great in khakis.
  2. Jimbo Fisher- Nate's reasoning is spot on here.  He doesn't trust himself enough to behave so if he has a transgression, who better to protect him from that than Jimbo.  Sadly he has a lot of experience in protecting his players and would need to do the same with Nate
  3. Steve Sarkisian- In Nate's words, he wants a coach that can party just as much as he can.  Sark just recently got pinched for some bad judgement at a USC event but that doesn't phase Nate.  In the words of Molly from Mike and Molly..."I'm gonna need another beer."

Jason's List:

  1. Jim Mora- This one is self explanatory for me.  I love the Bruins and he is my coach.  I bleed blue and gold and as long as Mora is calling the shots he is my guy.  Go get em coach.
  2. David Shaw- Stanford has themselves a guy who actually followed in Jim Harbaugh's shoes and ran in them immediately.  He is bright, tough and just wins.  I would take less of a scholarship to play for him.
  3. Rich Rodriquez- This one is my wild card pick.  He was great at West Virginia, but not so hot at Michigan.  Now he is finding his magic again in Arizona with the Wildcats.  Rich Rod seems fun and has always been a little quirky.  I would take him as my 3rd choice but he still makes my list.
