Four NFL Rookies To Be On The Lookout For
NFL's 2015 rookie class is filled with talent. After settling in with their franchises, these players are hoping to make a name for themselves early in their first season. Here is a list of four rookies that have the potential to do just that.
Amari Cooper
Postion: RB
Team: Oakland Raiders
College: Alabama
First 2 games: With a total of 156 yards and averaging 13 yards, Cooper has worked well with second-year pro quarterback, Derek Carr and looks to stimulate the club's struggling offense.
Marcus Mariota
Position: QB
Team: Tennessee Titans
College: Oregon
First 2 games: With 34 completions with 53 attempts, he has a 64% completion rate. He has a total of 466 yards with 6 touchdowns. With a 1-1 record, Mariota looks to lead the Titans to not only a winning record, but a championship as well.
Jarryd Hayne
Positon: RB
Team: San Francisco 49ers
College: N/A
First 2 games: While the first two games of Hayne's career have been lackluster, he is proving that his experience as a rugby player has translated into a career in football. He is one of the oldest rookies (27), and it will be interesting to watch him as he adapts to the new sport.
David Johnson
Position: RB
Team: Arizona Cardinals
College: Northern Iowa
First 2 games: In his first 2 games, Johnson has 42 rushing yards with 5 attempts, and 2 receiving catches for 58 yards and a total of 2 touchdowns. Johnson's offensive strength has helped boost the Cardinals to their early 2-0 record
