Orangevale Man Arrested In Connection With Threatening Calls To Daycares, Preschools
EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) - A man has been arrested in connection with threats made to students and workers at several local preschools.
Over the last few days, several preschools and daycare facilities in El Dorado County reportedly received phone calls from a male who threatened to harm the staff and children. As a precaution, some pre-schools had to close their doors, according to an El Dorado County Sheriff's Department statement.
On Tuesday, investigators arrested Michael McDermot, 23, of Orangevale on charges related to making the threats.
McDermot was booked into the El Dorado County Jail.
