Ahmad Brooks Leaves 49ers Due To Family Reasons

San Francisco 49ers outside linebacker Ahamad Brooks is stepping away from the team due to "family reasons," Head Coach Jim Tomsula said.

"We're keeping him in our prayers. "He needs to (tend to things) with his family right now. "To be honest, I'm not asking any questions," said Tomsula.

Niner Nation is reporting that it's unclear what the official reason is. For the time being, Brooks will be away from the team. Last week Brooks had a sack and a quarterback hit in a loss to the Green Bay Packers.
