Coroner: Identifying Lake Tahoe Plane Crash Victims Will Be Difficult

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13/AP) - It will take another day or two -- possibly longer -- for authorities to positively identify the two people who were killed when their plane crashed next to a home in South Lake Tahoe over the weekend.

The four-seater Beech 35 Bonanza went down shortly after takeoff Saturday night and sparked a fire on a side of the house in South Lake Tahoe,

The crash and resulting fire were apparently so severe, traditional methods of identifying the victims is not feasible, said El Dorado County Sheriff's Coroner Supervisor Sgt. Dan Johnson.

Johnson is attempting to identify the victims using dental records.
