NFL TOP 5/BOTTOM 5

My top 5 and bottom 5 teams after 5 weeks of NFL action.

BOTTOM 5

28.  Tennessee Titans- The Titans have been close but this young squad just can't find the wins.

29.  Miami Dolphins- What a mess, they had a bye week but now they have an interim head coach.  Bad defensively and offensively is not a good combination.

30.  Houston Texans-  The team can't decide on a quarterback and their "great defense" has not been great.

31.  Jacksonville Jaguars- Jacksonville just can't get a break.  They have had many tough years and this one appears to be another.

32.  Detroit Lions-  The NFL's only winless team may not have deserved to be here before but they sure do now after their blowout home loss to Arizona.  Matthew Stafford got booed and benched. It is bad in Detroit right now.

TOP 5

5.  Arizona Cardinals- I realize that they do have a loss but all their wins have been dominant.  They looked good again on the road and with Carson Palmer they are 17-3 in their last 20.

4.  Denver Broncos- Finding ways to win has been the key to their success, well that and the defense.  Denver's offense needs to get better but this is the best defense that Manning has ever had.

3.  Green Bay Packers-  Aaron Rodgers finally threw an interception at home but that didn't slow down Green Bay.  Great quarterback and a good defense will make the Pack tough to beat.

2.  Cincinnati Bengals-  They just keep winning. A double digit comeback win at home over Seattle was impressive.  The Bengals are riding the hot hand of Andy Dalton and it's working quite well.

1.New England Patriots- I have left them here from the beginning and there is no reason to move them yet.  A rematch of the AFC title game awaits them this week vs. the Colts.  This should be a test that the Pats can pass.
