School Marching Band Plays Special Concert At Injured Student's Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A John F. Kennedy High School senior got a special surprise Saturday when his school's marching band performed at his house.

Taariq Jensen was one of three cyclists hit by a man driving a stolen car back in June along South River Road near West Sacramento.

Jensen has been recovering ever since and hasn't been able to go to school or attend homecoming celebrations.

So, the school decided to bring some school spirit to him.

"This was so uplifting," Jensen said.

Taariq hopes to return to school soon. He says he wants to study medicine in college.
