1 Killed In Head On Crash Near Robbins

SUTTER COUNTY (CBS13) - A woman was killed in a crash on Highway 113 Wednesday morning.

The scene is south of the town of Robbins. Just after 6 a.m., a big rig was headed north on the roadway when a car tried to pass it.

A car heading south then hit the car that was trying to pass.

California Highway Patrol  says the driver of the car that tried to pass was killed in the crash. Her identity has not been released. The other driver has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Heavy fog coated the area at the time, CHP says. The incident is still under investigation.
