Tracy Morgan After Crash: 'I See Life Differently, I Embrace It More'

(CBS Sacramento)-- A year ago, Tracy Morgan was in a wheel-chair after recovering from a deadly car crash that left him suffering from injuries. Tracy pushed through all the battles and the 47-year-old comedian made his return to the stage when he hosted "Saturday Night Live" weeks ago.

Entertainment Tonight had the opportunity to catch up with him, his wife Megan and his daughter Maven. Tracy talked about his journey back to getting healthy and recalled not believing he was going to be able to walk again.

Entertainment Tonight was welcomed in the Tracy's home as he filmed a commercial for Foot Locker. He talked about his daughter and said, "She made me laugh a lot during my therapy. She loved daddy, and made daddy laugh a lot."

Tracy married his wife in August and said during recovery, "She was my rock. [She] still is. She was right there telling me, 'Don't worry about it.'All she kept saying was, 'I love you,' and, 'Don't worry about it, you're gonna be better than ever.'"

She recalled all those moment she spent with him in the hospital. She said that he's "even funnier" than before the accident and he's "back to [being] himself."

"The things that worried me and that were important before, aren't so important now. When you spend weeks in comas, then you hear and see things differently. I see life differently. I embrace it more. And to my fans, I'm glad I was able to come back and finish the job of making them laugh. This is for you," Tracy said regarding life after the accident.

His new commercial for Foot Locker's "Week of Greatness" will air soon.
