Bird Strike Prompts Emergency Landing At Sacramento International Airport

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A bird strike prompted an emergency landing during a busy holiday week at Sacramento International Airport.

The bird took out one of the plane's engines.

The plane with 113 people on board was able to land safely.

It's unknown whether the plane will be able to be repaired in time for the busy holiday travel rush.
