Sacramento State Police Increase Patrols After Reported Sexual Assault

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities are searching for the suspect who reportedly sexually assaulted a student at the Sacramento State campus.

The incident happened Sunday, according to Sac State police. A woman reports she was walking near the River Front Center quad when a man demanded her wallet.

She says when she told him she didn't have one, he forced her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect was in his 20s or 30s and is described as tall, husky and was wearing dark clothes. Police have increased patrols as a result of the incident.
