Man Grazed On The Face By Bullet During Attempted Robbery In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) - One person was nearly shot in the face Sunday night during an attempted armed robbery in Stockton.

Around 11:30 p.m. the victim was in the 1400 block of S. California Street when a man walked up, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The suspect then shot at the victim twice, with one bullet grazing the victim on the face. He fired once again at the victim but missed. It's unknown if the victim was running away at the time.

The suspect then went to a nearby park where he approached another victim and demanded money from them. The victim didn't have any money but handed over two cell phones. The suspect then rode off on a green bicycle.

Police describe the suspect as a 30-35-year-old Hispanic male adult, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing brown pants, a brown hooded jacket.
