Firefighters Save Animals From Fire At Exotic Pet Store In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Firefighters were able to save several animals from an electrical fire at an exotic pet store in Sacramento.

Around 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called out to SacReptile at 4101 Power Inn Road on reports of a fire. They arrived to find a small electrical fire in the corner of the room, according to a Sacramento Fire Department spokesperson. Unfortunately, some of the snakes and spiders at the shop did not survive the flames.

No humans were injured during the incident.

The exact cause is under investigation.
