Homeless Advocates Sleep Outside Sacramento City Hall In Protest

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Homeless advocates spent the night outside city hall after protesting at Tuesday night's city council meeting.

The protesters are calling for more taxpayer money for homeless programs.

Homeless advocates say efforts to prevent loitering and begging are anti-homeless.

City leaders say low income housing is part of their plan to build ten-thousand new housing units by 2020.
