Powerball Jackpot Grows To $450 Million

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - One of the biggest lottery jackpots is still waiting to be won.

The lump-sum cash prize for the winner would be $275 million, and the retailer who sells the ticket will win $1 million.
The Powerball jackpot has been climbing since it was last won on November 4.

Wednesday's jackpot amount is the fourth-largest in the game's history. The last time a jackpot was this large was won was on February 11, 2015, when three winners -- one in North Carolina, one in Texas and one in Puerto Rico -- matched all six numbers and split a $564.1 million prize, according to a California Lottery statement.

What are your chances of winning? The odds of receiving the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
