Man Who Confronted Vandals Stabbed To Death In Foothill Farms

FOOTHILL FARMS (CBS13) – Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a deadly stabbing in Foothill Farms.

The incident happened along the 5200 block of Verner Avenue a little before 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Deputies say they were called to the scene and found a 41-year-old who had been stabbed.

Medics soon pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Detectives believe the man, whose identity has not been released, was stabbed after he confronted vandalism suspects in the area. Two men are suspected in the attack.

Surveillance photos of one of the suspects has been released, and detectives say a hat believed to belong to the suspect was left at the scene.
