Julian Edelman Cleared To Play For the Patriots

It looks like most of the important players are coming back to the Patriots just in time for a playoff run.

According to Joe Amorosino of 7News Boston WHDH, Julian Edelman has been cleared to play for the New England Patriots this Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Edelman has been out since week 10 when he suffered a broken foot. According to Amorosino, Edelman will wear a steel plate in his left shoe in order to prevent flexing and further injuring himself.

Before he went down in week 10 Edelman had 61 receptions for 692 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Patriots have been decimated with injuries the entire year. Whether it's Edelman (Broken Foot), Danny Amendola (Knee), Rob Ninkovich (Shin), Dont'a Hightower (Knee), Rob Gronkowski (Knee) or even Tom Brady (Ankle) last week this entire year has been a patchwork season for New England. With that said, everyone mentioned is either cleared to play or practicing with the team last week.

Even with the losses to the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins (both on the road) the Patriots look as healthy as they have in a while as they welcome the Chiefs to Foxborough, MA on Saturday.
