Snoop Dogg At Media Day?
NFL football hasn't been played for nearly two weeks. Don't talk about the Pro Bowl, that doesn't count. Most of the players chosen to play in that game don't even want to play.
In the meantime the NFL decides to use this second week off to promote the players. It's now Thursday and most players are mentally checked out. You can only hear someone ask, "What are the keys to the game?" so many times before you get tired of it.
So, in order to help that pendulum swing in the other direction, Snoop Dogg made his way to the press conferences to lighten things up.
First, Snoop made his way to Cam Newton and had a very simple request to start it off. Snoop asked, "Caaaaam. Oh Caaaaaam! Caaaaam! Dab for me!
Cam laughed and happily obliged him.
Then, a little later on Snoop made his way to Peyton Manning. Once there he wanted to know if he could get a little discount on some pizza the next time he's in Colorado. There's some jokes there considering what is legal in Colorado. Also, just like Newton, Manning laughed and said yes before moving on to his next question.
The common theme between the two is that once they saw Snoop both Manning and Newton eased up and seemed like they had more fun once they saw him. This week can get a little tedious and monotonous so seeing someone like Snoop in the crowd helps the athletes get through the end of it.
