Twins Accused Of Slashing Parents During Argument At Sacramento Apartment

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Police say twin men are accused of stabbing their parents in Del Paso Heights.

Sacramento Police officers say the incident started out as a family fight on Los Robles Boulevard, then took a violent turn.

Telijah Brown has lived in Del Paso Heights for most of her life, but say nothing prepared her for what she witnessed on Sunday night.

"I've never seen anything like that in my life," she said. "I didn't see any weapons that's why didn't believe they were stabbed and then after one person showed blood there was blood everywhere."

Officers responded to a double stabbing in the parking lot of an apartment complex. They say Kevin and Cody Martinez, both 26, viciously attacked their own parents during a family fight and stabbed them both.

Brown says the mom, with a hand over her throat, approached her begging for help.

"She had a triangle size gash in her throat," she said. "She took her hand off her throat and it was like a zombie film. Everything started slipping out."

As she called 911, she turned and saw the dad's wounds.

"It looked like a baby was being born through his side. His intestines were coming out. He had big hole in his back," she said.

Brown says the mom waited in her car, bleeding profusely and refused to wait for an ambulance to arrive.

"They had blood everywhere," she said. "They had to clean my car. And there was blood on my car. There was blood everywhere."

Officers later arrested the twins for the attack.

The victims are listed in serious, but stable condition, at a local hospital. There is no motive yet for the attack.
