Lodi Police Investigating Early Morning Homicide On Main Street

LODI (CBS13) -- Lodi Police are trying to find out why a 30 year old man was shot and killed on South Main Street.   Police say they responded to reports of a man shot around 12:30 Saturday morning and found a 30 year old male with a Gunshot wound.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lodi Police Detectives are investigating the incident and haven't made any arrests.  Police say they do not have a motive and are investigating whether this was connected to any street gang activity.

This is the 4th homicide of the year in the city of Lodi, California.  Police called the violence "sad and senseless" on their Facebook page.
