Fee Hike Possibly In Store For Costco Memberships
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – If investment analysts are correct, it could soon be more expensive to be a Costco member.
According to a new report, the store could soon be hiking its membership prices.
Telling CNNMoney, a UBS analyst predicts Costco will be raising its basic membership fee from $55 to $60, and its Executive Membership from $110 to $120.
Costco has not commented on the report, but officials have said recently that they don't know when or even if they'll increase membership fees.
Analysts are also saying the possible fee hike could be delayed.
The last time Costco hiked prices was back in November 2011.
