3 Dead In Shooting At South Sacramento Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Deputies are continuing to search for the gunmen behind a shooting at a South Sacramento home on Thursday morning.

The incident happened just before 6:30 a.m. on 8779 Ardith Drive. When deputies went inside the home, they found three Asian male adults with gunshot wounds. All three were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Sacramento County sheriff's spokesperson Sgt. Tony Turnbull.

There were three other people in the home when the shooting happened. One of those people called 911.

Although there doesn't appear to be an obvious motive for the shooting -- it doesn't appear to be gang-related -- deputies have a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

"We know they were wearing dark clothing and masks and they fled in a vehicle which was described as a dark-colored compact," said Sgt. Turnbull.

Deputies encountered a language barrier, as the people inside home speak Vietnamese.

This is a developing story. Check back for further developments.
