Human Remains Found In Tuolumne County

PINECREST (CBS13) — The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department is investigating the discovery of human remains after a tip from the person who found them.

Deputies responded to a call just before 6 p.m. on Thursday of reported human remains in the area of Highway 108 and Strawberry Road.

Investigators have confirmed the remains are human, but have not determined if foul play is suspected or identified the person.
