Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall: Live-Action Street Fighter?

With UFC 198 this Saturday, many people are focused on the main event, Werdum vs. Miocic. But there is a Middleweight bout on this card that should not be overshadowed by the Heavyweights. Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall has the makings for a truly astonishing fight.

For almost a decade, Anderson "The Spider" Silva was on top of the UFC world. He brought superior striking and unrivaled confidence that made him untouchable. After holding the UFC Middleweight belt for almost 7 years, many questioned if there was anyone who could challenge "The Spider".

That was until Chris Weidman claimed the belt with a legendary knockout and defended it by literally breaking Silva's leg in half. With that gruesome injury putting Silva out of competition for over a year,  other top Middleweights have been taking center stage during his absence.

Silva returned to the octagon in January 2015, and has been trying to climb back to the belt ever since but has had little success. In his last 4 bouts, he has gone 0-3 with 1 No Contest. However, controversy still surrounds these fights.

"Weidman was lucky to knockout Silva the first time."

"Silva suffered from a freak accident in their second bout."

"Silva beat Nate Diaz but the decision was overturned after he was caught with a banned substance in his system."

"Silva knocked out Michael Bisping at the last second but Bisping was saved by the 5th round bell."

The arguments go on and on and many question if Silva is still the great fighter he once was. Silva is currently 41 years old, but is still going strong.

Uriah Hall was first thrown into the spotlight during the 17th season of The Ultimate Fighter. Inspired by fighting games like Street Fighter and Tekken, he ran through the competition with knockout after knockout. Many regarded Hall to become "the next Anderson Silva". And Hall has looked up to Silva as one of his idols.

What makes this fight special is that both Silva and Hall have very similar styles. Both have terrifyingly good striking and both have spectacular knockouts under their belt. These are two of the fastest men to enter the octagon. Let's take a look at some of their best highlights below, and try not to blink.

Let's start with one of Silva's most iconic knockouts against Vitor Belfort:
