Police Investigating Homicide After Possible Break-In At Dixon Home

DIXON (CBS13) – Investigators are at the scene of a homicide in Dixon.

According to the Solano County Sheriff's Office, a man was found dead at a home along Wild Rose Lane. A 911 call was placed around 11:30 p.m. Sunday over a possible break-in and assault.

The sheriff's office did confirm the man died from a possible stabbing.

Investigators say the incident was not a random crime and believe he was targeted.

There is a heavy law enforcement presence at the end of the road followed by a mobile command unit that has been set up for some time now.
