Police Investigate Suspicious Device At Sacramento Target Store

9:30 a.m. UPDATE: Police say the device was actually a glass pipe used for narcotics taped underneath a toilet seat.

Employees are expected to be able to go back inside within a half hour.

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A suspicious device has prompted an evacuation at a Sacramento Target store.

Police say they were called by employees at the Target store off of 65th Street a little after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Employees said a suspicious device was found inside the men's restroom.

The store was not open at the time, police say. Only employees were inside.

Employees have evacuated the store as police investigate.

The parking lot area is closed and the opening time of the store is delayed.
