Body Of 1 Year Old Kaylee Jackson Found In Georgiana Slough

ISLETON, Calif (CBS13) -- The body of a child, believed to be 1-year-old Kaylee Jackson, was found in the Georgiana Slough near Walnut Grove on Sunday.  Sacramento Sheriff's Department tells CBS13 a boater found the body of a 1-year-old and reported it to authorities. The body of her father, Kyler Jackson was found and identified Saturday night.

The search for the body of young Kaylee Jackson was suspended late Saturday around 10:30 PM when conditions became too dangerous for search teams and the dive team to continue.

Kyler and Kaylee Jackson left Antioch a week ago, but never made it home to Sacramento.  Authorities are investigating why the two went missing.
