Bernie Sanders To Speak At Solano Community College In Fairfield
FAIRFIELD (CBS13) - Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will be back in the area on Friday for his third rally here this week.
Sanders will be speaking in the quad at Solano Community College in Fairfield.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Expect Sanders to arrive around three hours later.
With a 100-plus degree temperatures in the forecast, campaign organizers are allowing plastic water bottles through security. Bags, signs and banners are not allowed, however.
Sanders attracted a crowd of about 2,300 people in Modesto on Thursday.
Actress Susan Sarandon introduced Sanders at his Modesto stop. She's also scheduled to appear at Friday's Fairfield event.
