Deputies: 2 Men Found Shot In Alta
PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating a shooting in a small Placer County town.
The incident happened in the Silvertip Spur area of Alta, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Office. It was first reported a little before 10:30 a.m.
Deputies say two men have been found with gunshot wounds.
One man was originally found at the scene suffering from wounds to the arm and torso, deputies say. Another person involved in the shooting was soon identified and found by California Highway Patrol officers. That other man also had a gunshot wound.
The condition of the men is unknown at this time. Both have been transported to the hospital.
