Teen Found Shot Multiple Times In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are investigating a homicide in south Sacramento Thursday morning.

The scene is along the 4900 block of Harrow Drive.

Sacramento police say they've been investigating the incident since 12:45 a.m. Officers arrived at the scene and found a juvenile male lying in the front of a yard. The juvenile, only identified as a 17-year-old, had suffered multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Medics soon pronounced the teen dead at the scene.

Detectives were still actively investigating the incident through the morning. They believe the shooting to be an isolated incident and say there is no threat to the neighborhood.

The area is being canvassed for any possible witnesses. Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is asked to call detectives at (916) 264-5471.
