Sacramento Fire Crews Rescue Dog From Hot Car

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Fire crews have rescued a dog from a hot car in Sacramento.

The rescue was made early Thursday afternoon. The Sacramento Fire Department says temperatures were 160-degrees inside the car when the dog was rescued.

The dog's owners have been cited.

As a reminder, on a warm day it can only take minutes for a car to warm up enough to be deadly for pets.
