Body Found Near I Street Bridge
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Sgt. Roger Kinney of the West Sacramento Police Department has confirmed that a body has been discovered near the I Street Bridge this evening.
Around 7:45 p.m., a jet skier called 911 to report finding the body. West Sacramento Fire Department personnel were notified and pulled the body into the Broderick boat ramp on the Yolo County side of the Sacramento River, the police department.
The body looks to be that of an adult male with no obvious signs of trauma.
While coroners have not confirmed, Kinney says the body seems to have been in water "for a while."
