Police: Intoxicated Roseville Mom Left Child In Hot Car

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — A Roseville woman is accused of leaving her infant child in a hot car while she was passed out on the ground, Roseville Police said on Thursday.

Stephanie Chiaratti, 43, was arrested on Tuesday after firefighters found an unattended infant in a car on Modessa Court.

Investigators say Chiaratti was sleeping on the ground nearby and appeared to be intoxicated. They say she fought and threatened officers as she was taken into custody.

Chiaratti faces possible child endangerment and resisting arrest charges.

The infant was treated and released to the care of child protective services.
