Sacramento Kings Acquire Malachi Richardson

The Sacramento Kings have announced a deal with the Charlotte Hornets, acquiring Malachi Richardson for forward Marco Belinelli. Kings Vice President and General Manager Vlade Divac made the announcement on Thursday morning.

Richardson was selected by the Hornets in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft. He played for Syracuse where he averaged 13.4 points per game. The guard also started in all 37 games.

Charlotte will be Belinelli's seventh team he has played for in the NBA.
