Man Fatally Shot While Sitting In Vehicle In Stockton
STOCKTON (CBS13) - Stockton police are investigating a murder that happened in Stockton on Wednesday night.
Around 10 p.m., a 26-year-old male victim and another man were driving in a vehicle near Oak and California streets in Stockton when someone approached their vehicle and shot at them, hitting the man. The man drove to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The only description that police released about that suspect was that they were wearing dark clothing.
A transient who heard the shots says this type of incident is nothing new there.
"I just put my covers over my head and play dead. It's not scary to me. I'm used to it," he said.
The name of the victim has not been released.
