Lodi Officers Use Spike Strips To Stop Suspect Car
LODI (CBS13) – Officers resorted to using spike strips to stop a suspect's car Sunday night.
The incident happened in Lodi. Police say officers tried to pull over a driver suspected of unspecified traffic violations, but he took off.
A chase then began – with officers eventually using a spike strip to slow the driver down.
The driver, identified as 22-year-old Lodi resident Christian Barron, eventually stopped and was taken into custody without further incident.
Barron was booked at Lodi jail and is facing numerous charges.
