4 Injured, 2 Critically, In South Sacramento Shooting

THURSDAY UPDATE: Authorities say one person had died.

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Four people were wounded in a South Sacramento shooting Wednesday night.

Deputies say the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on Green Tree Drive, near Franklin Boulevard and Florin Road.

A group of people were reportedly hanging around a car when another car drove up. Words were exchanged and eventually shots were fired.

The car, only described as an SUV, drove off.

Deputies do not have a description on the suspects.

Of the four people wounded in the shooting, two of them were critically injured, deputies say.
