2 Arrested In Connection To Recent Shootings In Modesto
MODESTO (CBS13) – Police have made arrests after two recent shootings along a single road in Modesto.
Wednesday night, a 26-year-old man was shot and killed on East Rumble Road while celebrating his birthday. Nearly 16 hours later, officers investigating the man's death saw another shooting.
The man killed has been identified as Joseph Jackson.
Investigators believe Jackson was shot in front of his house by 20-year-old Johnny Badie. Detectives arrested Badie on Thursday.
Police say they have arrested a Stockton man, Stephen Johnson IV, in connection to the second shooting.
Detectives are still investigating both incidents and are unsure if the two are connected.
