Woman Suspected Of DUI Crashes Into Dixon 7-Eleven

DIXON (CBS13) - Police say a woman suspected of DUI is under arrest after she crashed into a Dixon 7-Eleven store.

The scene is along the 1000 block of 1st Street. Officers responded to the scene just before 1 a.m. and found that a car had driven through the front of the store.

Police say the driver of the car, a Dixon woman, tried to run from the scene but was soon caught by officers down the street. She was arrested and is now facing DUI charges.

The woman is believed to have driven to the store to try and buy more alcohol.
