Roseville Man Suspected Of Shooting 2 Men In Oroville

OROVILLE (CBS13) – Authorities are looking for the suspect who shot two men during an argument in Oroville last week.

The shooting happened back on Aug. 22 along the 1900 block of Wyandotte Avenue. Officers responded to the scene just after 10:30 a.m. that day and found that two men, aged 30 and 34, had been shot.

Investigators are have identified the suspect as 44-year-old Roseville resident Thomas Franklin Hammitt.

Police say Hammitt shot at the two men before taking off in a black lifted pickup truck.

An arrest warrant has now been issued for Hammitt. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or knows where he might be is asked to call authorities immediately.
