Stockton Police Find Gun Near Where Teen Was Killed

STOCKTON (CBS13) — Stockton Police arrested two men on weapons charges on Tuesday near where two teens were shot over the weekend.

Francis Lupian, 29, and Jesus Garcia, 22, were arrested on Tuesday after reports of someone pointing a gun at passing cars.

Police say when officers arrived, one of the suspects dropped a red rag covering a loaded gun. A second gun was found near where the other suspect was hiding behind a pillar.

The men were arrested near Dallas and Connecticut avenues, near where a teen was killed and another was wounded in a shooting on Sunday.  Police have not indicated whether the two events are related.
