Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce Oakland Concert Date As Part Of North American Tour

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The Red Hot Chili Peppers are giving Northern California some love during their upcoming North American tour.

They're performing at Oracle Arena on March 12.

On Monday, the band announced the 24-show North American leg of its 2017 tour, which kicks off in early January, and supports their 11th studio album, "The Getaway!"

It's the third and last tour stop the Chili Peppers will make in California, behind a March 5 performance in San Diego and a March 7 performance in L.A.

Pre-sale tickets will be offered to the fan club on September 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Sales open to the general public on September 23. Each ticket price includes a physical or a digital copy of the new album.
