HERCULES (CBS13) – A rapper known for his Hyphy hits was arrested over the weekend after leading police on a chase in the Bay Area.
Charles Kente Williams, known as “Keak Da Sneak,” was apparently driving his 1988 Ford Mustang near Hercules when an officer tried to pull him over. Police say Williams wouldn’t yield, however, and instead led officers on a quarter-mile chase.
The chase ended when Williams lost control of his car. Officers say Williams tried to get out and run to an apartment, but he was arrested.
Williams is facing charges of driving on a suspended license and evading officers.
In a post to his official Instagram account, Williams’ manager confirmed that Keak Da Sneak was arrested after leading police on a chase.
“Keak is not at all proud of the actions that took place but is very thankful that he was able to walk away from the situation with his life,” according to the post.

Keak was indeed arrested Saturday 9/17 around 1:40am when The police attempted to pull him over for no specific cause. By him having a outstanding warrant , he decided to take them on a run before abandoning his 1988 5.0 Mustang. The chase continued on feet where he was able to hide before getting caught with multiple guns drawn at him. Despite the news reports , This was not his place of residence nor was he trying to attempt to enter into anyone's apartment. Keak is not at all proud of the actions that took place but is very thankful that he was able to walk away from the situation with his life.
