SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Nearly 10,000 people lost power on Tuesday afternoon as an outage spread throughout the area, affecting shopping centers in the area.

The cause is unknown, but Sacramento Metro Fire says a barn fire in Rio Linda is likely not the cause.
