Fire In Tuolumne County Grows To 850 Acres

TUOLUMNE COUNTY (CBS13) - The latest on a wildfire burning north of the Don Pedro Reservoir:

9:15 p.m.

Cal Fire reports that the Marshes Fire has grown to 850 acres Monday night.

Mandatory evacuations are still in effect for the Moccasin Estates subdivision. An evacuation center has been opened at the Hacienda at 5182 Fuentes de Flores in La Grange.

3:12 p.m.

Crews are responding to a fire near the community of Moccasin on Monday afternoon.

The scene is near Highway 49 and Marshes Flat Road, north of the Don Pedro Reservoir. As of 5:30 p.m., Cal Fire reports the fire has grown to 400 acres.

Mandatory evacuations are in effect for the Moccasin Ranch Estates. Voluntary evacuations are in effect east of Hetch Hetchy.

Multiple agencies are responding to the scene, Cal Fire says.
