Sacramento PG&E Crews Stand Down As Hurricane Matthew Takes Odd Turn
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — PG&E crews that were supposed to head to Florida to help clean up after Hurricane Matthew are standing down as the storm has taken a different path.
The workers were going to West Palm Beach to help the hardest hit communities, but the storm's track headed eastward, leaving less damage than expected.
Now, the storm is projected to make a loop, potentially making its way back to Florida by the middle of next week.
