Neighbor Tried To Assist Slain Las Vegas Grandmother
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas arrest report reveals more details about the shooting death of a grandmother, including how a neighbor tried to step in.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported (http://bit.ly/2dVlKZ9) Friday that a female neighbor saw 45-year-old Bradley Christian Francis push his 86-year-old grandmother, Marilyn Guidry, on the driveway of their Summerlin home.
The neighbor told police she ran over to check on Guidry and then went to get her own firearm.
She told police that within seconds of her return, she witnessed Francis shoot the victim in the head.
Police say that Francis was in his backyard armed until he surrendered peacefully to police after a three-hour standoff.
He is being held without bail on suspicion of murder.
It was not immediately known Saturday if he had an attorney.
