2-Year-Old Stockton Boy's Death Now Classified As Homicide
STOCKTON (CBS13) - Detectives say they are officially investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy from Stockton as a homicide.
On Friday, family members took the toddler to a hospital in Pleasanton where he later died.
By Saturday, investigators concluded that the boy had been injured at his family home in Stockton.
Police interviewed the boy's family, but no one has been taken into custody.
Detectives have not commented on why they are now classifying the boy's death as a homicide. Investigators had been waiting on autopsy results to make their classification.
