STOCKTON (CBS13) – Several people were arrested during a Black Lives Matter protest in Stockton Wednesday night.

Stockton police say protesters took to the streets after dark and started disrupting traffic. Officers ordered the protesters to get off the road, but they reportedly refused to leave.

Black Lives Matters protesters planned the protest to demand the release of body camera footage of the Aug. 16 police shooting of Colby Friday.

A total of four adults and two juveniles were arrested during the demonstration at Weberstown East Park. The group arrested face charges of impeding traffic, inciting a riot and resisting arrest.

One other protester arrested refused to identify herself. She allegedly spat at an officer, prompting the officer to use his baton to push her back.
