Fairfield City Races Missing From Solano County Election Ballots

SOLANO COUNTY (CBS13) — If you thought your ballot seemed a little light this year, you might be missing a few races.

Solano County elections officials are sending out new vote by mail ballots to nearly 5,000 people after the original ballot left off the offices for the city of Fairfield.

Missing from the ballot were:

• Fairfield City Council
• Fairfield City Clerk
• Fairfield Treasurer

Replacement ballots will be sent to residents who are affected. If they submit the old ballots, they will still be counted if the new one isn't submitted, but voters would miss out on voting in the three races above.

The voter registration deadline for California is Oct. 24.
